UNS N06600(Alloy 600) has good corrosion resistance in acetic acid, acetic acid, formic acid, stearic acid and other organic acids, and has medium corrosion resistance in inorganic acids.  So the pipes of  UNS N06600(Alloy 600) has found a wide variety of applications in industries as diverse as thermal and chemical processing, pollution control and power generation.
